On-farm

Cutting, spraying and planting.

Services

Cutting

Chainsaw and scub-bar cutting.
Overgrown grass cutting.

Our vegetation management capability includes both chainsaw and scrub bar cutting. We maintain a fleet of twelve chainsaws of varying sizes, enabling us to undertake work ranging from light clearing through to large tree removal, including species such as gum, macrocarpa and pine.

Where appropriate, we process felled timber for firewood and can arrange a hydraulic splitter to support this work as required.

We also undertake scrub cutting using tungsten blades, although these are now primarily used for grass control where they deliver optimal efficiency.

Spraying

Native pre-spraying and releasing.
Mist blower and knapsack spraying.

Our spraying operations utilise electric knapsack sprayers and mist blowers, enabling efficient and targeted application across a range of environments.

We apply a variety of approved chemicals, carefully selected to match specific site requirements.

Planting

Native plants and trees.
Poplars, willows and exotics
Pine trees.

In recent years, we have established ourselves as a reliable and high-performing planting crew, delivering work for Pōrangahau Catchment Group and a wide range of local landowners.

We regularly undertake large-scale planting projects in the 5,000 to 10,000 plant range, including work within QEII covenant areas where care and environmental sensitivity are essential.

Our experience spans a variety of planting types, including poplar poles, rooted willow cuttings, and pine trees, allowing us to support both erosion control and wider land management objectives.

Resources

We operate with a fully equipped and experienced crew – typically comprising four to six team members and are equipped with three quad bikes, allowing effective access across varied and often challenging terrain.
